First, one of my motto's. Nobody knows everything.
There are two things that are common to all people. We want to be right, and we want to look good. So when we are presented with a situation where we don't know something and someone is trying to teach us, our first reaction is defense. Some to more of a degree than others. If we come to a situation with a learner's mind, just be with, then we are open to learning more. So I remind myself all the time, "nobody knows everything."
So that being said, I'm going to focus today on learning how to do some more stuff with my blog. Like links, and typelists, and highlighted emails, and trackbacks. I'm not even sure what some of those things are. I went back to the library and checked out Blog Wild by Andy Wibbels again. This book is about blogging and specifically blogging with typepad. Step-by-step instruction on typepad blogging. So here I go.
Okay, I'm going to add a link. One of my fav blogs is Seth Godin's. Click here to go to Seth Godin's blog--. Okay, I think I did it. That explains the little chain looking thingy on my toolbar, too. Cool.
Resizing text. I couldn't figure this one out, before. Changing color is pretty self-explanantory, you just click on the rainbow ball with an A by it. Bold, italic and underline I already figured out. I haven't figured out the S with a line thru it yet.
Posting this now, since I don't trust my computer and I don't want to lose it while I go eat ravioli. More later.
Keep it fresh. Keep it fun.
