At the risk of sounding like a bigot, I have a question. Why are most of the hair places that cater mostly to African-Americans run by Asians? I'm not talking about hair dressers. I'm talking about the places you can buy hair and hair products designed for black women. I wouldn't even know about these places except my daughter is mixed, 1/2 black, 1/2 white, we call her mocha, it's a new race, anyway, she buys ponytails and hair and hair products at these places. I have never been in one that's run by black people. Why is this?
Alot of manicurists are oriental, too, which I often wonder why, but it's not as confusing because all races go get their nails done. What I don't understand is why a business that caters almost exclusively to one race is almost always run by another. What is that about?
And what about all the liquor store and gas stations run by East Indians? Why do they seem to have a monopoly on that. I don't mind, it's just that enquiring minds want to know.
Keep it fresh. Keep it fun.
