There is no status quo with your health. You are either degenerating or regenerating. What creates the difference?
I think it's simpler than most people realize. If you do more things to make yourself healthier than you do things that make yourself unhealthier then you will be regenerating.
Of course there are things that target specific functions in your body to the good or the bad. So you could be generally healthy but not getting enough vitamin A so your eyes aren't doing quite so well. Or you do good most of the week but binge drink on the weekend. How does your liver recover from that?
Generally though, try to do more of the good than you do the bad. And take your vitamins and minerals.
