My daughter wanted a Tamagotchi and I promised to buy her one. So I called her at her dad's and told her to get on the phone and call WalMart and see what the price is. I did this with her older brother with video games and video game guidebooks anytime he wanted something. Now he's pretty competent on the phone. You learn by doing. You get good at something by doing it often.

So I tell Tabbycat to call Walmart. She calls me back and tells me she didn't know the phone number so she went online to Walmart.com and looked it up that way. She's 10 years old, by the way.

It's a whole new world.
