I have this huge book called "Encyclopedia of Women's Wit, Anecdotes, and Stories". Under the subheading Creation this was quoted from Joey Russell:
A teacher asked her Sunday School class to tell the story of Creation. A little girl stood up and said, "First God created Adam. Then He looked at him, and said, 'Oh my, I can do better than that.' So he created Eve."
This made me laugh out loud. I think I thought it was funny because it was a little girl that said it. I don't really think women are superior to men or vice versa. Just different. And I love the differences.
About humor. My 10 yr old girl says to me all the time, "what's funny?" when we are watching comedy. I'm wondering if she is lacking the humor gene, if it just hasn't developed yet, or if her's is different from mine. My other two kids laugh at the same things I do and have since a very young age.

Hi!
Great funny quote you shared there, thank you. It made me laugh out loud as well.
Well, when it comes to humor my kids are completely different from each other as well, while my son loves the silliness of SpongeBob, my daughter goes for the sitcom-humor. I prefer the sitcoms as well, while my husband enjoys crazy stuff like the Simpsons. So I can see how your daughter may not laugh at all you think that is funny.
Interesting thought, though.
Peace
Claudia
