My New Business

Still signing up with a new network marketing company. Waiting for my income taxes to invest in it.

And that delay is because my soon to be ex wants us to see how much we can get back if we file together as opposed to me just doing my own. And he is a terrific procratinator. So I'm trying very hard to be patient and wait. He does work 40+ hrs a week. Plus he has the kids during the week. And his weekends have been packed.

I am trying to be patient.

My Ongoing Weight Issue

I was at the doctor's with my Mike yesterday and weighed myself. 195. Unbelievable.

I got a book on dieting at the library by Martha Beck called The 4 Day Win. I love Martha Beck. Her book "Finding Your North Star" was a factor in my going forward with a separation from my sometimes cruel husband and ending a loveless marriage. I'm going to follow the exercises in the book and see what happens.

I'm also really trying not to eat so much sugar but it's proving more difficult than I expected. I think I'm a sugar addict. "Hi, my name is Carol, and I'm a sugar addict." Really not so funny.

Still Overweight

I still have the same plan to eliminate refined sugar from my diet. I actually accomplish this for a few days at a time. I think I'm a sugar addict. I am also a book addict but that isn't as unhealthy. Or fattening.

It's not just the weight issue. Sugar is the culprit behind more than one of my health issues. White sugar is very bad for me.

I'll just keep working on it.
