I was cleaning my desk area and found a little bucket of notes I wrote to myself at work. Mostly websites and books I wanted to check out. However, there were a couple of notes that were obviously ideas for blogs. Or maybe just a comment to make on facebook.
Just about any comment can turn into a blog for me, tho. I have an opinion about most everything and when I have energy I like to share that opinion.
Some of the notes are inscrutable though. Like: middle age old age tinkerbell. Was I trying to figure out a good age to stop loving Tinkerbell? Because I'm getting pretty old but I still love Tinkerbell. Maybe it's something I should keep to myself so as not to seem immature.
Here's another note: hanging up etiquette. Do you say bye? I love you, bye? Or thanks for calling, bye? Or do you skip the bye bye? It feels so awkward trying to hang up sometimes. Isaiah, Katrina and I say "Ok, I love you" the other person says "I love you, too." Then, "ok, bye," "ok, bye." And sometimes one of us adds "I'll talk to you later," or "I'll call you later." On the other hand, Tabby and Mike both just hang up when they are done talking. So I look at my phone and it's already hung up.
The last note on this particular post it note, besides a book called The Strategy Paradox, says 'accepting reality.' That's enough for another blog, along with 'asking for what you want.'
So that's all tonight.
love,
Carol
