And so am I. When I was younger and I had an opinion about something/anything, and I had a lot of opinions, I said it. Without concern for hurting anyone's feelings or making anyone not like me or whether I might be wrong.
Then I had friends tell me that I made them cry and I got tired of arguing about stupid stuff and I started caring if people liked me and what they thought of me, and I quit sharing my opinions as much.
Then came the internet. I enjoy reading people's comments (opinions) almost as much as the blog itself. And what I've figured out is that everyone has an opinion about stuff. And people believe what they want to believe, all evidence to the contrary.
Don't confuse me with facts, my mind is made up. So it's okay to say what I think, express my opinions, and to share what I believe. Some people will agree, some won't, some will like me, some won't. Some people might get their feelings hurt but that's not my intention.
So some of this blog is going to be disagreeing with or expounding on what I've found in the media, social and otherwise, and my opinion on it. I believe it will help me to be a better critical thinker if I engage again.
