I am going to get to the awesome uses of Geranium oil in a post that is just about Geranium. However, today I wanted to post my experiences with geranium.
I cut myself with the lid to a cat food can. Sliced my little finger open on the top. I would normally put some lavender oil on it and a band-aid. I couldn't find the band-aids and it was bleeding so I put geranium on it. Geranium oil heals inside and out. What that means is if you have a wound you can put geranium on it and it stitches it closed. And if you have a wound on the inside from an emotional trauma, you can use the geranium to heal that trauma.
Our bodies store emotional trauma. We often have a mind-body disconnect when there is trauma, whether it is a car accident, a rape, a divorce, a death of a loved one, or anything else that creates trauma. That is the brains means of survival. And we should be thankful for that, because to experience the trauma in it's fullness at the time of happening would likely make us insane. Unfortunately, after the trauma, at a time when we could now deal with it, it's gone inside and is hiding in our cells, and we've lost that connection. The geranium recreates that connection and then allows it to heal.
There are other emotional oils that accomplish similar things. I'll be posting about those later.
So I used geranium and stopped bleeding. I use oils on any cut I get, or my kids get, no matter how small. We usually use lavender. Tea tree works, Rosemary is tea tree times ten, so it's a little bit overkill, but if we don't have tea tree or lavender, then that works. Or to stop bleeding we use geranium.
I was watching a news program years ago and a man got a papercut when he was on a plane. The edges turned black and then he had the dreaded flesh-eating disease. He had to have both arms and a leg amputated or something like that. The oils are anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal. No flesh-eating disease in this family. I heard that Neosporin is actually agent orange. I haven't confirmed that yet, but it is a chemical. The less we use chemicals on or in our bodies and the more we use natural, the healthier we will be.
Orange oil next time for sure.
Keep it fresh. Keep it fun.
